I recently stayed at Sadou Hostel Ueno for a few nights during my trip to Tokyo. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to leave my luggage before check-in. The beds were comfortable and the entire hostel was spotlessly clean. I appreciated having shampoo and other toiletries provided in the showers. The location of the hostel was ideal, being just a short walk from JR Okachimachi Station, which had a bustling market and restaurant area nearby. The breakfast, although simple, was a nice touch.

The best hostel in terms of cleanliness and staff kindness. The WiFi was strong and reliable. You have a variety of breakfast options with different kinds of bread and instant soup. The hostel is conveniently located close to multiple subway and JR line stations, making it easy to explore the city. One more advantage I enjoyed was the cozy and comfortable sleeping area.
The lack of fresh water available on each floor. It was a bit inconvenient having to go downstairs to get a drink.
